BCIP, p-Toluidine is commonly used in the colorimetric detection of Alkaline Phosphatase in conjunction with Nitro Blue Tetrazolium (NBT). The BCIP/NBT substrate system is also suitable for use in immunohistochemistry, immunoblot staining, and ELISA applications.
