HATU (O-(7-Azabenzotriazol-1-yl)-N,N,N,N-tetramethyluronium hexafluorophosphate) is a peptide coupling reagent for solid and solution phase peptide synthesis. HATU is effective at coupling N-alkyl amines on resins bearing secondary amino groups.
